Recipe - Fruity Tequila Sangria

Just in time for the summer holidays, I am sharing my FAVORITE summer sangria recipe. My friends know this drink very well, and they love it - I make it for all of my parties because it is SO easy to make! Check out the recipe below!

Fruity Tequila Sangria

Ingredients

An assortment of sliced, fresh fruit to fill your pitcher halfway

(I used 1 orange, 1 lemon, 1 lime, 3 small slices of watermelon, 1 apple and 1 peach)

1 bottle of red wine - use an affordable bottle, like the Trader Joe’s Merlot that I used

2 or 3 shots of tequila - I am using Azunia Black tequila #gifted

1 cup of juice - I like to use orange juice, apricot juice, peach juice or even lemonade

1/3 cup of sugar (if you want it less sweet, use 1/4 cup)

3 pinches of ground cinnamon

1 can of ginger beer

1) Add your red wine, tequila, juice, cinnamon and sugar to your pitcher, and stir well.

2) Add your sliced fruit to the pitcher, and stir well again.

3) Put your pitcher of sangria into the refrigerator and chill for at least 3 hours.

4) To serve, add ice to your glass, fill the glass 3/4 of the way with sangria, and top with ginger beer. In my sangria, I use hibiscus ginger beer by Q Mixers. Garnish your glass with fresh fruit and a sprig of mint, and enjoy!

It is that easy! Enjoy this drink and the beautiful summer weather, and let me know if you try it !!
